Durban – Two men were killed when a construction truck crashed into them on the N2 in Durban on Monday, paramedics said.
Three men were standing in the emergency lane fixing a broken bakkie when the truck struck them, ER24 spokeswoman Vanessa Jackson said.
“Two of the three men were flung into the air and over the road side barrier, leaving them with multiple and extensive injuries.”
Both men, in their thirties, died on the scene. The third man and the truck driver sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital.
